Re: Digital SLR recommendations
Well the limitations of the red cameras. cheap build, unreliable, No warranty service in Australia, temperamental etc etc may not be as well documented but they are certainly well known within the industry. The scarlet may be different, may be better. I don't know. The red track record is not a ver...

Re: Digital SLR recommendations
Josh, Its all about what YOU want out of photography. If DSLR is the route you choose, then checkout the offerings from Canon/Nikon/Pentax. Go to a camera shop and "feel" what brand works for you, not what camera looks good or has 75,000 diferent settings or what Jack said was the ants pants. Its go...

Re: Perth for 7days...........
Sorry to be the dissenting voice here but in my opinion the Maggie River wineries stand proudly up there with the most pretentious, wanky and over-priced gin joints in the world. If you feel like sitting on a straw bale and paying $58 dollars for an entree of bulgarian sheeps cheese on a bed of bab...

Legion, thanks for the response.
No, don't have to stay in city. Thinking South around M or R.
Transport, yep, hire car.

Victim was from Nepal, a diminutive fella. The two alleged thugs are from Tonga, one here on holidays from NZ, staying with his aunt at a DY unit. Witness said they towered over the victim and that it was a "frenzied, random and vicious" attack. Cops claim the alleged thugs were pissed. No doubt th...
