Its pumping here today, so the single is back on the rack and the Black Beauty is under my feet. Neither of them modern day si...

Re: Single Fins
Heat it up with a hairdryer and peel it off slowly. Don't use a heat gun unless it has heatcontrol, you don't want or need it too hot. Some glue wil stay behind on the board clean it off with, wait for it, WD40. trust me I tried everthing on that stuff, thinners, turps, acetone, eucalyptus oil, even...

Re: that wetsuit discussion...
To Quicksilvers credit, they have replaced my Fuseflex 3-2 steamer within a week of me sending off to them. The new one is the same model, but appears to have different rubber on the seam seals. It is a more matte looking rubber, rather than the shiny stuff that failed on the last one. Here's hoping...

Re: Teahupoo Contest
As is the Channel nine one hr ASP package they had of J'bay in sat'd arvo. It was all, 'he lost to hime and he lost to him" etc etc. Fair dinkum, you would not have know that some of the best surfing ever seen was going on at a legendary surf spot.

Re: Teahupoo Contest
People who don't surf have no idea what it is about and will say things like "you mean they get marked for how many turns they do?" My dad was into bowhunting and couldn't understand why thousands of people watch the footy and nobody was interested in watching his sport.
