I reckon Surf Rage is generally overrated and overhyped and represents a tiny fraction of what happens in the water, whatever your gender.

In my opinion the whole sponsorship scene is a bit of a wank. Just a way for kids to fuel their egos. I am not saying that i wouldnt want to become a sponoed surfer, it would be great. But i reckon if you surf hard and gain the respect of the locals at your spot. What more do you need? With respect...
