Re: Dark Pandemonium: Parko@Pipe.

I won't hear a bad word said about GT. He's a man of the people, robs the rich and gives to the poor. Once on the boat in Tahiti, when the lunch came around he gathered up the unused food and distributed it amongst the poor plebs who weren't on the catering list,. His campiness is totally real and v...

Too hard to call from here Natho.

Ask again in Jan and we'll see how the storm track/jet stream is shaping up.

Re: Dark Pandemonium: Parko@Pipe.

It'll swing through Monday, and if winds are favourable they'll run. Looks like a slow moving low pressure gyre being pushed into a semi-stationary position between the Kurils and Kamchatka with multiple fetches entering the North Pac off Japan. That would indicate pulses of long range W/WNW swell i...

Re: Dark Pandemonium: Parko@Pipe.

I think this current system might come in a tad stronger that indicated.....and the way the system intensifies as it encounters the newly located Gulf of Alaska blocking ridge should see a wide swathe of surf from the WNW into the NW and then NNW. What this means? Pipe will transition into heats whe...

Re: my prediction for summer

don't mind the way the next high sets-up with potential for a broad area of tropical low pressure in the SPCZ to start a little squeezplay.

at the least we could see the first tradewind flow in the CS for the season.

Re: Dark Pandemonium: Parko@Pipe.

North Pac looking much better as that huge fcuk-off blocking ridge breaks down and swells start to form from a more westerly direction

Re: Dark Pandemonium: Parko@Pipe.

Parko has motored in fourth gear all year, and the concern for his fans has been that he hasn't been able to find a fifth gear when he needs it most. He hasn't been able to take control of his destiny. Pipeline is the supreme example of a wave requiring a surfer to be in control of their destiny. Sla...

Re: Dark Pandemonium: Parko@Pipe.

The problem, if we can term it that, is neurological at the least. Neurons that fire together wire together. Parko has long history of collapsing in the clutch, and that is now indelibly etched into the clusters of neurons that determine muscular activity and the response to stimuli. He also seems s...
