Re: RS BBQ Syd Dec 13 Sat - Longy then SurryHills/CBD/InnerW

I am going to pop down Saturday although I may have work in the arvo. Longy looks like being a mess if this wind keeps up.

Re: Patellar snapped in half.

2nd surf in tiny waves this morning. Used it more for a excuse to paddle. Still restricted but more reach than before. Fcuk its a slow process but again good to get wet and also good to break out the springy.

Re: RS BBQ Sydney Dec 13 Sat (location poll up)

coops. there's other options up now. check the poll. and i can't add more options otherwise it kills and resets all the other votes back to zero as far as i know. perhaps TrevG can verify if the surry hills/cbd option can be added without nuking the other votes? but speaking on votes and locations....

I am bit concerned with the time you have to plan this. Having experienced several other RS BBQ's is just over 2 months enough :o

Re: Patellar snapped in half.

Ok Beery we are coming into some warm weather and small surf, time to get wet and merge our crippled bodies into the throngs of Sydney's weekend warriors.
Hang near the supps and they won't be worried about us

I was curious about his Sumo boards. They looked like something you could chuck in the car for a anyday board. Not getting anything myself at the moment but don't mind looking.

Re: Patellar snapped in half.

Well I got back in the water today. First surf since February and 4 months to the day from shoulder surgery. :-D-: I paddled with a limp which made my mate laugh as I don't have as much range as I thought so more stretching required. The shoulder itself felt good but the bicep tendon gave a bit of g...

Hey Fong, if you feel yourself getting a bit spacy and panicky, breathe. Take your time and do ten deep slow breaths. Does the trick.

Re: Patellar snapped in half.

I am looking at about 3-4 weeks. Like you I am waiting for a typical spring day, about 1 foot and offshore go down mid morning when the sun is up and see what happens. Worst case is I just go for a paddle and test the shoulder out. The steamer may be the issue as I struggle with jumpers sometimes
