Re: Ask Carroll

Maybe you could pop back to the 8th of December 1980 and take the bullets out of Mark Chapman's gun. Punch him in the face whilst your at it.

Re: Ask Carroll

From experience wobble? Unfortunately not ... my encounters with pedophiliatic time travellers has been nonexistent up until this point. Bear in mind though that due to the very nature of time travel ... it would be fair to assume that disruptions in the space time continuum could in fact force me ...

Re: Ask Carroll

Actually you're both wrong.

One should never get into a car with a creepy old man ... especially when he's loitering in the carpark behind Newport shops.

"Hey kid ... wanna come for a spin in my magic car"

"Yeah sure ... why not"

Re: Drawing on fins

Boards that have been emblazoned with polka pen artwork usually get a protective coat of something like pro-tech over the top. Don't know why you'd bother doodling on the fins though. Sounds like a monumental waste of time to me. Can't you just put stickers on the board like the rest of the kids do ...

Re: Shark Attack Near Miss - GC

Nah ... the shark was already hooked to a drum line. The huis boated out to the line and shaun jumped in the water with a birdcage on his head and a gopro to get some film for for a flick they're shooting. Pretty sure they could be fined for tampering with a drumline. They might be acting like jack...

Re: Crowds.

Cnuts who paddle for everything who you know are too far inside and prob won't make it around the first section but you have to give them the benefit of the doubt just incase. Cnuts who sit on the shoulder and paddle for the the wave ... crumbling the lip and making it shut down on the person insid...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

1 and 2 wave "sessions" do not count. Thats a swim. I think it was MP who stated that unless you catch at least 3 waves its not classified as a SURF. Remember this rule ... its important. Don't ask why ... it just is ... OK. And no you can't count that little whitewash you caught to the beach in utt...

Oh for christ sake give the fcukers Cobaki. And let them plonk a casino smack bang in the middle of it too. Whilst we're at it ... bung in a cruise ship terminal at the headwaters of Cobaki Creek. With a nice little cruise ship permanently moored there for good effect. The Cobaki Creek Cruise Ship T...

Nick ... who else would you like to put pen to paper on. Not necessarily surfers either. What about Marice Cole ... he's had an interesting journey. Have you ever considered doing a book (or a set of stories) on the development of the surfboard (or surf craft in general) ... seminal moments in desig...

Re: Crowds.

But bizarrely, not fifty yards past the crew the next V bank was peeling off machine like lefts and rights with only a lone flailing backpacker on a soft board out. We surfed perfect peelers for a half hour before some butch lesbians from Germany paddled over. They were harmless and didn't even pad...
