Yep. It's a pain in th arse. I'll only do it occasionaly.
Can't see any reason why photobucket can't be acceptable. I reckon someone behind the scenes only has to tick a box somewhere.

My User Control Panel Profile still gives this message. I have tried "Reset" with no effect. The avatar functionality is currently disabled. Current im...

Re: Bombora - History of Australian Surfing
Kingscliff has always been a center for surfing talent. :D Not sure if this is "tongue in cheek", BP but in fact, as far back as the mid 60's the kids from Kingscliff were keener than most and pretty talented. They just happened to come from a spot with no surf. Even they did everything they could ...

Re: Bombora - History of Australian Surfing
Hey Nick, did you tell that one lady to lay off the tanning machine? Scared the shit out of me when she came on. Phyllis is a most interesting person. She spends five hours every day swimming laps in the Kingscliff training pool, where she insisted on being interviewed for the program. I think she ...

Re: Bombora - History of Australian Surfing
That was Phyllis O'Donnell. I would be surprised if that's from a tanning machine. I suspect she has issues as a result of a lifetime in the sun. She was always very tanned, just from surfing. I hope she's OK, but it doesn't look good. I remember you picked her from those photos I put up recently T...

Hey Nick, did you tell that one lady to lay off the tanning machine? Scared the shit out of me when she came on. Overall I was pretty stoked with it. Stirred up some national pride and brought a lump to my throat more than once. Good on ya, Aussies! Can't wait for ep. 2. That was Phyllis O'Donnell....

Re: Bombora - History of Australian Surfing
I enjoyed it immensely. Not much new footage for someone as old as I am but the interviews were great.
It drew plenty of favourable comment out in the surf up here this morning, too.

I'd be happy to kick start proceedings Huie. Fong beat me to the first ride on the A-bat, and I'm not gunna let that happen again  . We Sunny coast crew often hook up for surfs, so we can handle passing it around up here. Might be a little bit small for Trev tho. You're right Tiger, but I ...

Great vid, Steve. I used to take my daughter out at the Alley at Currumbin and do the same thing. She used to love clinging to the nose as we pushed out over the incoming waves.
Seeing as how she is now 30, it brings back some great old memories.

Re: Now WHAT ... !!!!!!
The one that really pisses me off, and you see good surfers doing this too, is paddling in front of the shoulder so they dont have to duck dive. These poor sods who wont paddle inside so as to get out of someones way shit me no end. I was fcuking close to deliberately running into some cnut the oth...
