Got a week in Port Stephens coming up in a few weeks...looking at Anna Bay as it seems to be a bit cheaper than Fingal. Is one significantly better than the other for waves ? are there other spots ? also any food / coffee advice would be appreciated ...I know the Fishermans Co-op is a good fishnchip...

ok so I'm kiwi so maybe our hooting tradition is different ...but I usually hoot a big wave ....if its a 2 foot day and a 3 footer comes in I'll hoot it as it approaches ...and if someone catches a big wave I'll hoot that as well. I don't hoot peoples moves / ability ...although theres a good chance...

To be fair though if It was a massive half pipe the size of a snowboard half pipe...but it went downhill a bit of a distance it would be heaps fun...like permanent sand boarding or something
