Given the loooooong break between comps and the focus on the cut-off just around the corner, if they don't get good waves at J-Bay i would think the balls would be elephant in scale (staying with the animal/continent theme). Balls don't get much bigger to suck than that.

2 spots that creep me out. Water is often so murky you can't see your feet when sitting on your board. Too many fins and weird splashes.

Surfing certainly massages out the crankiness.

The other half now appreciates my surf time as it means the cranky old cnut is not so cranky. Works wonders.

Had a break from mid 20's to mid 30's where i only surfed once or twice a year. Life got in the way.

What did i miss out on?
