Re: Fantasy surfer comp

As Admin,It's sort of implied, that if any of you win this thing, I will be sharing a room with you at the Turtle bay Hilton.

As far as a prize for our club. Winner gets dinner and a show, at Draculas, with Westerly Windina.

Re: Snapper riffing

Uncertainty in the forecast, and likely some onshoreish, unclassic snapper are sure making it hard to pin down a fantasy team. The ability to read what a wave is going to do from behind the rock at snapper will be somewhat nullified. The playing field levelled. I don't think the local knowledge will...

Re: Fantasy surfer comp

That's more like my team, based on garden variety snapper conditions. Which I think it will be far from, some tinkering will likely be done.

Yes LA. You can pick now, and chop and change in the lead up if you wish. I'm betting you have Julian Wilson on your team!

Re: Fantasy surfer comp

Yeah the sites pretty clunky, it can take a few times to get things to work. Key is to be persistant.

Braithy, you're gunna be all over this like Grooter on a KFC Zinger burger. Speaking of Groots where is he, get on board Groots!

Re: Fantasy surfer comp

Steve you have to register to play. Then you can go into clubs and join the realsurf one with the code etc. I'm assuming you also compete individually with all the other registered users, I think there was something like 20,000 in last years. And they have some kind of prize for the winner. Braithy ...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Yeah the sand situation is nowhere near as dire as I thought we were in for.

The points up here have been re-arranged, but not in an all together bad way. It's actually refreshing to see them set up a bit different.

Re: TC Freda

I was sure I'd heard that name before, don't have to lay off the crack pipe after all! Don, I'm not planning to surf the points unless there really is no other option. I've somewhere else pencilled in. It's the 16-25 year old age bracket that should hopefully be missing from the early, they're the c...

Scratch that, just checked a list of cyclones named in aus waters. And it wasn't there, maybe mixed up with Fran.

Spose I should lay off the crack.

Re: TC Freda

Hasn't there already been a cyclone Freda? And no, I'm not talking about Freda Zamba! I wasn't aware that they used the same names twice. Perhaps the other 1 I'm thinking of was named in aus waters. Regardless, I'm pretty fcuken excited about surf prospects this week! Hope everyone goes on massive b...

Nup. None of the other heats I click on want to play. If I hover the cursor over them, the scores come up. Click on a heat, it changes to red, but doesn't start in the window. :?: :?:

OK Fong I'll let ya know this arvo what the go is, but I'm "angling" for tmrw.

I thought you knew the no bait rule on my boat? It's environment destroying plackies all the way.

BTW, saw a dugong in the river a few weeks back.
