Iggy, yours is the most likely in the short term, but I'll have to monitor the mood at home.
Give them a hundred bucks and send them to Luna park for the day while you go surfing . Fixed

How long in the car to that reef?
70 mins, then a short brisk walk. The reef will be on if the swell is at least four foot (head and a half high). If it's shy of that then the beachies will be the better option

Re: Where did you surf today ?

AJ. There should be some uncrowded smoking punchy head high plus waves early Saturday morning. I know exactly where to hit. Feel free to tag along. I'll be up at 4am, so come knocking. The goat curry and black coffee breakfast will be there waiting for you.

Cooking ? Define cooking pls

Yes, there's waves about down here. But only at select spots, and certainly not overhead on anywhere that's copping the south swell. Most beaches are copping waist to chest high at the most. Sparse as hell also.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

This extended run of small swell is just like living on the goldy all over again. Tedious. At least lets hope this 3-4 foot of south swell delivers by the end of the week.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

The one and only HPS thruster I have is the absolute business in clean punchy 3 to 5 foot. Great for solid beachies and reefs. Love surfing it when the conditions are on. At the moment, it's just sitting there waiting for Autumn to kick in. Think it's been about five or six weeks since I've surfed it.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Rainforest walk at minnamurra, then managed to squeeze a forty min session in at the farm just before dark as the crowd was emptying out. Clean, walled up and peaky shoulder high fun. Got a couple beautifully formed lefts on the little single fin. No turns, nor any need to. just paddled in deep, the...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

I don't even bother with a HPS thruster until it's at least head high plus and punchy. Anything under that it's either the little single (if lined up) or a twinny (if sectioning)

Re: Ebay Bargains thread

I had one of his twins a while back. Fins clustered closer to the stringer than a normal twinny, and had considerable tail lift. Excellent board. Very! Fast. Great release off the top.
Keen to get another at some point

Re: Ebay Bargains thread

That Nigel Beckham shaper on the Gold Coast had a few of his boards up on gumtree.

Like the look of his twinzers. The performer and retro rocket. Reckon adding a little nubster or tiny standard fin at the centre would be to go.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Long period south swells need to be at least three-four foot down here to much use at most locations.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Pretty straight and closey-outy for most of the the stretch of beach where I was at too, though the righthand bank I was surfing was running along the edge of a deepish channel towards the headland. Held the face up just enough to stop it shutting down. A bit of a trampoline wobble to it though. The...

Re: Ebay Bargains thread

All of TSND boards are, and always have been way overpriced. The fkn things just sit there and don't get sold.
