Re: Ebay Bargains thread
yeah - that looks wicked. I need a large single fin for big waves - might be too big for my dwarven statue.

Re: bonzers.....the quad fad is over
Got it - 5'9, 19 1/2, 2 1/4 - egg. It's really refined, with HP rails and a pulled in nose and tail. Have surfed it about five times. Great allrounder. Really gelled with it from the first surf, which i don't often do with bonzers. Shoulder recovery is slow, so i can only surf once to twice a week, ...

Re: Where did you surf today ?
So i surfed - and it was average - the waves and my gimpy arm. Could paddle, but without any strength. And then the pop up. Wow. It was like learning to surf again. Got roasted by some turd who watched me pitch on a set wave. I told him i'd been out of the water ten weeks and i hoped it would happen...

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Yeah many of the points were firing this arvo. Shoulder is almost healed, so back in on the weekend. Hopefully with a new bonzer. Good to hear about the shoulder. Was it a bit of a sudden unexpected improvement? Yes - thanks Buddy. It's been two months since i last surfed. I've been doing rehab for...

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Joel Tudor calls em training wheels and gets stuck into anyone that uses them. He seems like a bit of a DH. I followed him on Instagram for about a year. He said nothing worth hearing and quite a few things that showed he was in fact, in ozzy terms, a bit of a bogan dickhead. Unfollowed him about 3...

Re: Lost Puddle Jumper
The best small wave/grovel board i've ever owned and still sits in the quiver today is a 5'0 mini sim quad. It is super flat rockered, crazy wide tail, but will destroy knee high waves if there is a wall. Anything above chest high and it slips and slides like you're on rollerskates. That lost board ...

Re: Lost Puddle Jumper
I think batoes had one but wasn't a big fan. Ding you have a twin torus? yes - worst board i've had in years. Firstly, finding fins that worked was a huge issues. The tech was crap. The board just couldn't make sections and felt really dead under foot. I had a firewire creeper that was 20 times bet...

Re: Front shoulder pain.
Yeah, my arm went through all sorts of weird shit for about a year. Sitting in a chair could be painful. Elbow would heat up and throb, pins and needles in the fingers, aching shoulder blade. But no real reason for one happening or the other at any time. Still can't wear a wrist watch on that arm. ...

Re: Front shoulder pain.
Yeah - it's weird. No shoulder pain, so they have ruled out frozen shoulder thus far. There was damage to the supraspinatus as well and that's where they think it has come from. Acupuncture has been the only thing to really help. Endone, endep and a range of other drugs didn't do much except make m...

Re: Front shoulder pain.
I'm in week 5 of an infraspinatus tear. Crazy nerve and secondary pain in the bicep and forearm. Can't straighten arm. Can't raise arm (currently typing one armed). Sleeping maybe four hours a night. No pain meds helping. Have been to doc six times; physio, acupuncture, voodoo priest. Being injured ...

Re: Midlengths
The plan is to give it a few more weeks, then if she hasn't agreed bury her in the sand dunes. :D I need a new board, too. Didn't you just get a CB egg batoes? Still waiting on it. I won't have it until May the way they glass up there. That's all good - got nerve damage in my left arm and can't eve...
