Only smells I get from wet stuff are when my wettie/ towel/ boardies go back in the car damp and stay there overnight. But the smell of the wax overcomes that anyway. I reckon I keep my boards longer than most people ( I'm a cheapskate :oops: )and haven't yet noticed any degradation through leaving...
