Re: Thieves About

Putting that road to the bottom carpark is the worst thing they could ever do.Although you can now watch your car while in the surf it now allows any 50's plus 9' mal rider to roll out of their car and straight into the rip and out the back in no time. That, and the fact Shellharbour will soon become...

Re: Longboards - Rebuilding the quiver

...I got a quote on a DT1 speedshape last week and they start at $1500... Aye, found that out too, still, for a 'proven' shape/design some are happy to pay it, especially seeing as I spent $1095 for a custom off a 'reputable name' and got a dog that completely failed to meet the 1 main part of my b...

Re: Longboards - Rebuilding the quiver

The Dane Wilson G&S is a good model that would probably do as a one board quiver. Taks cost heaps (royalties ) I got a quote on a DT1 speedshape last week and they start at $1500 so I got a quote off Mark Rabbidge for something similar for a little over half the cost.( he makes good boards ). If you...

Re: 8 footer or 9 footer

Go the 9 footer. You 'll love it of the smaller days and get the feel of a longboard properly. Single fin or three matters little and the flatter rocker the better.

Re: Fong venting in the daily!

What I want to know is do these surf companies like GSI, Surftech ect really use slave labour to make their surfboards? Has anyone ever checked this out? I'm not trying to back these imports and I dont ride them and what about wetsuits and clothing ect that are made overseas ?

I'm gonna be unpopular here; I think Lines from a poem was boring, I think it could have been a better film if half the footage was edited out, keep all the cream, "more killa - less filler!" thats what they say isn't it? and I think it would be terribly unfair to single 'Lines from a poem' out, th...
