No I reckon people who think that people look like tools or bums if they have 2 different types of fins need to get a life/girlfriend/boyfriend.

Who cares what other people wear apart from homosexuals?

Good on ya pridmore! I see this as a 'you scratch my back and i'll scratch yours', you are supporting the industry in the hope of the industry supporting you. Good things can only happen from something like this- esp if your borads are good. Also imagine if you helped a young gun go onto big things?...

Need a lockable under-car rack. A few simple welds on the bottom of ya car to set up the racks and viola! from the rear of your car push the nose of your board into the front rack and then lock the tail of ya board with the rear rack. Boards would get heaps more ventilation than in the car and would...

http://www.basesurfboards.com/images/popups/sp-bullet-pu.jpg The Bullet is exactly that and comes with 4 channels and a winged swallow tail, thick boxy rails and a super flat rocker. This board is a perfect summer board and should be ordered 3” shorter, 1 ¼” wider and 1/8” thicker than your normal ...

No crooked its not like tacking. On second thoughts this may be hard to expalin in a post. Tacking uses your legs, arms and whole body weight in an ugly side to side movement, pivoting off your back wheels. The 'hoola' is using a more subtle core movement to generate momentum. It also involves a he...

natho- is the 'hoola' movement like 'tacking' on a skatey?

With tacking on a skatey when you move the front of the board from side to side you start to move forward.

So more of a side to side movement rather than an up and down one?

It could be argued that at the speed a water ski is travelling the water would be very rigid and flat.

A wave is much more curved.

Surfing should be done on two back feet according to NC...

edit: I wonder if the other craft flex because the terrain the are working is rigid.

Surfing is the opposite because the wave flexes.
