In my long term travel boards (6.6 and 7.0 Jim Banks) I had ceramic speeed fins- medium size despite me being a little bit of a bigger unit. Lasted for years with a slighly heavier glass job.

Anyone know what happened to speedfins they were pretty good IMO.

Matty, the new bonzer is still in the glassing process, and yes, will post a pic as soon as i get my grubby mitts on it.

Speaking of boards that die, parkos effort is not too shabby at all.

In the right waves a 'proper' old school twin keel fish is fun as, that said mine has a thick layer of dust on it. Can't remember last time I surfed it.

I done this on my old steamers for years With it on, mark just above the elbows with a pen Then take it off lay arm flat as possible. Press down hard on your mark with a steel ruler/ good straight edgee and cut with a scalpel/super sharp hobby knife etc.. Melt any loose threads quickly with a lighte...

Guarantee you'll find some good boards that some bloke has been convinced to buy in some wanky shop/ mag ad/'what slater rides etc.
