Well just came in at the point and the car park is full and 20 are vans that look to be parked up for the night. Think it’ll be a zoo in the morn.

Looks pretty average now.

Beachie I surfed was 6+.

How was the crowd and your quota?

I chose to not even look at it.

Surfed a nice big outer bank beachie on the 7’4 pipe dream.

Mostly just 2-3 people, pod of dolphins hanging round all morning, crystal blue water and clean waves.

I taped the skins at Sandon off free to air to VHS back in the day.
They put a really good soundtrack to it.
Shane Bevan went home with the most cash.

Lennox could be on its way to caba, Pottsville, salt style development - which is horrible.
A soulless extension of the goldy which reminds me more of Florida than Cali, but with slightly better waves.

Angas shoulde be even more off limits than the ox.

I hope Torquay now tells em to get fucked after the snub they were getting and holds a non-WSL affiliated state or national titles as a return serve. Or just free to the public is good too.

Surely the locals will just do what Lennox has just done.

I think Sydney or Newy would be the only place that may accept in NSW.

With median house prices in Lennox at 1mil per year and units not far behind, I think if the kids want to meet their ‘surf heroes’ then a 55min drive up the road to snapper won’t be that big an ask of mum and dad.

So will the point be uncrowded for the 4pm sesh then?

No crowd surprised me.

Been surfing Kirra a lot lately on a twinny.
Really suits it at 2-4ft to get that effortless drive to make fast sections that I’d have trouble on a regular shorty.
The good surfers do well on anything out there though.

Not saying he looks bad on shorter boards btw. He looks good on most boards. But look at his 80s footage at places like huntington - it doesn't look great in isolation, but then watch the other guy in his heat and you'll see he was doing well. Pretty hard to make the boards perform when the waves ar...
