I've got a 7'6 thruster (Miller) and I ride it really differently to the log.

It's such a different way of surfing - love 'em both....

I'm loving the board I'm riding at the mo', so I'm sorted for my log riding, but on my wishlist is:

Wegener Flow (8' - after coasties post I'd love to get my hands on one)
Skip Frye fish;
McCoy Nugget (7' - don't know whether I should opt for the single fin or thruster set up tho')

Oh Mama....

One of the local fishermen gleefully told me that they were pulling sharks out of the Ruins on Saturday - mostly small ones tho' - but it took two of them to carry one of the unlucky ones up the beach.

Makes the pre-dawn paddles out more interesting eh??

Alex Knost has a beautiful style about his riding, looks like he's in total control in the small wave stuff I've seen him in. Does that side slip thing from the nose too ala Miklos Dora.

The only thing I found on Reno's old boards was a picture showing the wingers(?!) he put on the tail of his board - not much, but if you want the pic just let me know....
