Re: Where did you surf today ?
I’ve had a couple of surfs now nursing this hernia. Seems okay with a Springy on as long as I take it easy.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Had a surf at one of my favorite novelty waves this morning. When I was paddling out I noticed a slab of the rock shelf was getting exposed before the end of the wave broke on the inside. Made a mental note to be careful if I caught a long one. Got a few. Then got the longest wave and thought I bett...

Re: Where did you surf today ?
First time I went to Noosa was in 1973. Two mates had bought a VW Beatle for $100. The heater was stuck on so it was a hot trip. Usually had to push it to start. Stayed in a caravan park back towards Noosaville. When we got back it broke down in front of the High School where the buses stopped. Stay...

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Rainbow Bay next to Snapper used to be called Shark Bay because of the large number of sharks. Bit of a marketing name change.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Tested surfing after my hernia stopped giving me grief today. I was a bit worried but went okay. Crossshore before the wind picked up and caught about 6 waves before calling it a day. A couple of longish lefts were better than expected.

Just got back from a vain attempt at a swim. Tama looked pretty good. Similar size to the Bra earlier. Fcuk the beaches are packed.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Without wanting to reignite the wave height debate I was just over at the Bra watching the surf for about 45 minutes while the missus had a dip. I’d call the surf 4-6ft by my scale. 100+ guys of mixed ability in the water. Tide had probably caused more shutdowns but there were a few long running lef...

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Bondi was packed this morning. It’s protected from the north swell. Pretty crappy though. Heaps of walkers, runners, powerlifters and a few swimmers. Everyone was out after the rain.

Rabbit has a new signature board out. Doubt he could surf it himself though and definitely didn’t shape them.
