Makes surfing so much easier, hey?

Fitness is task specific is about the only think I remember from high school phys-ed. I think I got about the fittest for surfing I've been in a decade this summer because there was so much uncrowded, warm water B grade Point surf. Lots of waves, lots of paddling and I could do it almost daily, man...

Coming into winter, I think doing a strength workout pre-surf works really well. I do rep range of 8-12 with 60 second breaks or sometimes super set of 3 exercises back to back then 120sec break Get's your body moving in all the directions it will need, muscles warm and loaded and then you surf real...

I like the pun, beans but still think there are much better suggestions.

Why?

Surfing combined with strength training are very complimentary IME.
The surfing suffers missing either piece.

I assume this means they are putting a bunch of boards out that you can trial?

Kym died in a motorcycle accident last year.

I surfed it 5.30-7.30am
Did 3-4 laps.

Being surfing the 6’6 will webber mainly.
Kirra yesterday was great fun.
Point today.
Some good ones running down the line but I just had a poor surf until my last wave which made up for it all.
Sweep sorted out the crowd both days.
