Re: Sets to 50 feet on outer reefs Monday....

This is the first time have actually watch a comp live on-line. This seems to be great quality. Have any of you watched other events live? Are the ASP events streamed this well? Have I been missing out??
The swell is getting bigger!!

Re: Sets to 50 feet on outer reefs Monday....

Awesome..I have another 6 hours work in front of a computer. The work consists of loading up a slide (30 secs) and then waiting for it to scan (40 mins). Thought it was gonna be crap, stuck in room by myself all day. Now just found out the Eddie is on, with two big arse monitors, super high speed co...

Awesome,I'm picking up a vehicle in Sunshine Coast this weekend and as a bonus organised to have a few days off surfing/cruising down the coast back to Newcastle.

Looks like 2-3 foot onshore dribble the whole way back...of course!!!

Re: Quadfather Project Board....

Where is that board now?? I am about to fly up to Sunny Coast this weekend (Sat 7th) and drive back along the coast over a few days to Newcastle. So if the board needs to hitch a ride it would be no probs.
Cheers Ben
PS Mark gonna see if I can pull into the shop for a surf/beer.

Righto, the board is heading to Sydney this weekend. Oldman will take it off me (thanks again mate for meeting me :) ).
Hope you get some waves on it. Dissapointed I have to work when I get there as a few piccies and beers would have been good.
Enjoy

Re: ###travelling c d d compsand

Huie, Sorry can't PM on the work computer. About the dimensions..yeah too small for me. The surf was only small here at the time, but I had a heap of fun on it regardless. I put this down to the materials. the board floats like fark. Paddling into waves was as easy (if not easier) than my 6'4" PU. A...

Re: ###travelling c d d compsand

Got the board today (Tuesday) went for a mid morning surf in 1-2 foot offshore waves (beachie). Will hold off most of my opinions till I surf it more. But just initially I was suprised by the bouyancy of such a short board as I usually surf a 6' 4, great to paddle into waves. Also haven't surfed suc...

Looks like the swell will be ramping up for the arrival of the board as well...might have turned out for the best.

Re: Kangaroo Island

Remember it is S.A one of the most fickle places in OZ. Been to KI about 8 times, always got some form of a wave, but only good twice (scored much better on the mainland down South of KI). In (very) general you can usually score something no matter wind or swell direction. Great spot to explore, esp...

Re: ###travelling c d d compsand

Huie, Sounds great and can't wait to give the board a burl. Can you get the delivery driver to ring me with an ETA, so I can be home to collect board please. Or give me his number and a tracking # and I'll sort it. No worries about passing it on to Sydney, would be great if I could meet up with some...
