Here is one of the oil spot glazed pots i made back in the day. It's a yellow spot and a bit of a small spot which was a bit shit in that it wasn't well defined like the Song dynasty ceramics spots.

Not quite on the same thing but when i did ceramics many years ago one of the things i tried to achieve at college was to recreate a Song dynasty oil spot glaze. it was an assignment where you had to try and recreate a glaze from antiquity.
