Hey Pete, That s good to hear, I ll have to demo the 6 2....39 liters is spot on for me at the mo. I found that the FireWire elf struggled......but thinking about it me and the elf just didn't get along with or without gusty winds :D Off topic slightly, the crowds at snapper were hideous but not too...

Just got back from surfing Byron in quite a gusty offshore wind......any dramas getting into the wave on a light weight board in such conditions?

Topher makes a good point, you get instant speed.....kind of like a quad....when taking off and they maintain momentum. And they go off the bottom off the top beautifully. Taking mine for a spin down at the points in Byron tomorrow :D Would love to hear more about your NPJ topher, my next sled could...

G day uncle, I have two....a 7ft diverse SG model which I got years ago and a DMS crumpet which is 5'11. My crumpet has become my go to board for all conditions. The bonus of a 2 plus 1 is that you can play around with the fins, moving the centre fin forward and back or changing it, shapers.com.au h...
