Anyone surfed Tahiti - and if so, what was your experience? Could you find any budget accommodation?
A mate has won two return flights and has asked me - but it's looking really expensive and i can't find too much info on the net for the budget traveler.

Re: that wetsuit discussion...
Moore, that is soooo much cheaper than over here. On ebay the 3/2 is worth $460. Via the UK seller, minus the VAT and estimated shipping - $130. Are they the smooth skin suits? and if so, i wonder how they hold up? I'd be keen to get the long arm short leg - will need to get some skinny jeans and cu...

Re: that wetsuit discussion...
Whiskey militia finally got back to me and downgraded the shipping from $139 to $101. That would put the price of their wetties with our shops.... Uk seems to be the go with cheap wetties and postage. Most of their winter wetties on sale are 5mil though. The water temp gets down to 14 or so he...

Hey Pirate - how did you get them down to that price? They quoted me at $130 for shipping!
Natho - who's got buells for that price?
and finally: http://www.seshday.com/Event.aspx?l=000 ... 6700000000
their sales on wetties starts tomorrow - quoted at $45 for shipping.

Re: that wetsuit discussion...
I agree with Spotty, my current patagonia is a solid suit, but there's no way it will cope in 12 deg water. I've lost a few kgs and have been noticing a flush in in the lower back and the water ain't that icy yet. The fit is key. As for the c-skins, is surfm8 still sponsoring here? if so contact him...

G'day Cuttles :D I heard Tomo was coming back to town around Easter and so i thought i'd have another crack. Curiosity with surfboards has always been my achilles and the seppos have been talking up his wares for a long time. As you know the second hand Tomo richter didn't work out last winter. I tr...

Re: review of Mccoy Astron Zot
I've found the all round nugget not as back footed as they're made out to be. Front foot pressure on the freefall is fine. Driving off the front foot through turns is no good. I've found providing i'm standing over the fins and put pressure on the tail through cutties it goes fine. My experience wit...

Glam, the key pocket is in the chest area. I like it, just wish it had one of those tiny cords attached to the wettie for extra security.

Anyone tried a seventhwave kiwi wettie? Jap rubber and custom made. I must admit, i've used two wetties with yamamotto rubber and they are pretty darn warm and comfy.

Has anyone worn a rash shirt with titanium in it? Are they actually warmer or is it all marketing nonsense?
