NBs, offshore breeze, warm water and waves - what more could you want.

Around 10am a lifeguard on a rescue board was out on up near that wave mid Manly - it sure was big. He caught one and got smashed on another for a long swim in. The wave looked like a great left hander but everyone I saw seemed to be all under gunned.

Nice little peaks, rain keeping the crowd away, easy to park Friday

Manly but the super high tide just swallowed up the swell

Yesterday a bit better and today just the leftovers plus the smoke haze.

Better yesterday but still some waves this morning but crowded.

And Kelly keeps on giving................

Bumpy NE swell amongst the smoke, heat and kids on holidays.

Another morning of lumpy NE swell, overcast and wind already onshore.......sort of an end to the week

Quick paddle on the NBs before the storms and dust. Looks like a long hot summer ahead.

Usual spot for a NE swell although the wind was a bit side on - a lot cooler at the beach than inland (and needed to go to plan B for a park)

Damn the NE wind but it was better than it looked where I was on the NBs.

NBs, small, mix of swells and if it had just been a foot bigger

totally agree on my drive around the NBs

Felt and looked like autumn - a bit close - outy but a few gems in between
