Re: AN APOLOGY

I hope me asking the above question isn't going to put you off giving me a crack at the critter Cpt ;)

I guess that line of questioning isn't exactly going to fill you with confidence ;)

Re: best board for me?

could be a new thread, but what's the dis/advantages of a stringerless fish? Seen a 5'9 DVS stringerless fish with a volane glassjob and glassed in carbon twin keels going for $500 somewhere and it sounds like it's pretty good nick... Anyone care to educate me on the pros and cons of the above board.

Re: AN APOLOGY

By the sounds of things i should buy a lotto ticket... I got talking to a guy in the surf at boneyards a few months ago about those shapers x-rated fins I bought. He'd just bought a set of the size 5's and thinking of buying the size 7's but wasn't sure if they were going to work for him or not as h...

Re: First quad feedback

Had an amazing session on the QF this morning at Cronulla Point before the weather turned nasty. Put SF4 fronts and GX single foil rears. Sweet combo I reckon. Great speed down the line and great drive through turns. Almost scored my first barrel but had to dodge someone on the shoulder. Noticed my ...

Re: Quadfather Project Board....

I read in one of the earlier posts that you were going to send it off with some butterfly quad fins? Did that ever eventuate? Have they disappeared yet? If so, I'd love a shot if it comes back through sydney way. I missed it on it's way south. And when it was here it was flat as hell anyway. Any pic...

How would something like this go in usual sydney conditions?

Has anyone surfed one or something similar?

Dav. I am like that. And it's rare that I'll tell anyone on here to shut up as I only read this site to feed off others stoke and like hearing their opinions on things. Thinking about what to next in my surfing world does keep me awake at night sometimes. I knew I had a problem the night I got out o...

Re: First quad feedback

Cheers don. I was going to make a post this arvo retracting my earlier comments about tail pad positioning. I snuck in for a cheeky wave after work today concentrating on foot placement. Every time I had my foot on the kick things would turn to $hit pretty quickly. The kick is pretty much over the r...

Re: First quad feedback

Had a few surfs on my new Quadfather. 6'4 x 19 5/8 x 2 5/8. McKee quad. Really enjoying it so far. Haven't tried it as a thrusters yet as I'm having too much fun with the quad. Paddles well and is really stable even though this is the first board I've surfed under 20 inches wide. I put the tail pad ...

Re: Shapers Fins

I bought a few sets of the "x-rated" series fins. From the info on the website i gathered they were similar construction to the FCS PC range. I bought two sets of 7's, a set of 5's and a set of 3's to try out different combos on my Waterskate and on my Firewire dominator. I surfed these fins for a w...
