Re: How much does it cost to make you're own board?

Maybe shape it with some borrowed tools and get someone to glass it for you. There's bloke a Cromer who'll glass it for you for 150-200. But then its getting exy but although I think blanks are 90 bucks from Brooky.

Make the owners of the pubs 100% responsible for the crimes not the the security company. More big gun lawyers but hopefully experienced security with some back ground checks. Re: Quad with Thruster Option

Bum, just ordered a quad with thruster set up today, shaper assures me th fin placement wont impact the thruster performance for the larger stuff. Oh well will soon see. Had a few slide outs with my M5 so whacked on some carbon M7 and no slide at all but maybe a bit stiff, so have M7 side fins with ...

Re: correct paddling technique?

Re: knife - good luck, sounds like the last resort. 10 years or more of dealing with pain was fine, but I have a weakness that could be fixed by surgery. Common ailment, surgical option has a high success rate. I've put it off forever because it's 3 months minimum before heavy exercise (incl. surfi...

Re: knife - good luck, sounds like the last resort. Re: front foot down stringer, it opens your body to the wave and hence and gives you a greater perspective, more control, rotation and timing for driving up and wave and ultimately back down. Try it and I bet by the 5-8th wave you are more comforta...

Re: correct paddling technique?

Lifting the elbow tip cured my surfing tennis elbow.Thanks.

Also tip of front foot straighter along the stringer has improved back hand 10 fold.Thats a gooden.

Saw a guy wearing strap on sunnies and gloves the other day in 3/4 ft (it was dawn patrol). Next step is putting a cup holder on the board.

Re: Bra Boys Drug Bust

They seem to fancy themselves as the bikie gang of the sea. Difference being is Bikers don’t encourage and nurture teenage boys - the hard core are usually bad bastards before they get there. Can you see the surf from Long Bay?

Re: Greg Webber Mini-Fish twinnie

Just got a 6'0 webber mini fish... Had a 3 hour surf this morning at the Alley in Cronulla . Got a bunch of waves and did some nice turns... I'm not a very good surfer but i reckon it's a sweet board... It's my favourite board so far. The quiver had really come along since i started surfing 2 years...

Re: SA mollusc - not really sure

Reckon the Summer Mollosuc with the the more pronounced vee and swallow tail looks fun. I've seen a few out riding the standard Mollusc and I initially thought they were riding McCoy Nuggets. Fun, long rides on the right waves but limiting if you want to throw around. Saying that theres a bloke at D...

Re: Who is in a boardriders club?

Funnily enough, Im a founding member of a club myself and started it way back when I read an earlier post! Seemed like a good idea at the time cos knee creeping and arze licking had reached a new level and we needed to declare ourselves as a group, partly in order to grow as sufferers, partly in or...
