frozen FCS screws make baby jesus cry

I've seen a couple of posts about a few tried and true methods for getting the feckers out... e.g. use a proper allen key driver, use an easy-out, or super glue the key into the grub screw. Tried 'em all but to no avail with this sucker. So in desperation I chucked a 1mm drill bit in the ol' Metabo ...

Re: gun in mouth and near drowning; two Oz surfers & surf ra

Razool appears to be a vicous moron with a chip on his shoulder who loves to provoke anyone into a scrap by dropping in on them. I could just be saying that though because I'm racist.

Remember when I found that girl who was selling her recently dead sister's dress on ebay, and then she heard about the thread on RS and came on here to sort us all out?

Re: The Real Surf Backyarderz ... who are you?

That cerex stuff looks a lot like that hemming tape you iron in to your pants to take them up. I glassed some silk cloth into a deck couple of years ago, expensive excercise. The colour looked amazing before I glassed it... then it turned into a flat, blotchy looking blue. Latest I'm trying is some ...

Re: people who only surf in summer

I only had to send one clown in, miraculous given the way the rest of the coast looked! :D Could you elaborate Dug. There was this guy flopping around on the inside on a surf ski, he looked like a WW2 pilot! He had a full 3mm wetsuit on ( it was 38 degrees ), hood, and what appeared to be flying go...

Re: people who only surf in summer

^^ Swell of the year hit my fickle little strip of coast on Sunday. To put you in the picture... 38 degrees, 50km from the GPO, 90% of the employed & student population on Xmas holiday alerted to it 4 days out by Swellnet. It was always gonna be carnage... By Adelaide standards it was amongs...

Re: Is my board too long/thick/wide?

You reckon Naude might try for a share buy-back / delist Olds?

Naude strikes me as someone with his head screwed on the right way. It will be interesting to see if he pulls it off... and what happens next. Clouds over Aus operational base and surfstitch?
