I find the idea of a "fixed" volume as a measurement that surfers aspire to counter-productive and a marketing tool. Thats my beef with it. . Any fixed or targetted volume can only be relevant to a specific blank or core type.....if you switch from a Burford blank to a Dion , the volume calculation...

The test board is ready to go back out , after a quick haircut and shave , and a small ding repair.....Trying an experimental traction pad on the tail.......2mm cork over 2mm of rubber..... if the feedback is positive , I would like to try it as an inlay .

Kayu, you purport to know about the Tasmanian testing facility, have you ever been there and participated in any testing? If yes, tell us more, if no then what are your statements based on? No HO , haven't used it , and probably never will...(lol) ....but it's far from top secret , and , quite open...
