Theres less attacks in En Zed due to less people in the water. The main concentration of biteys is down Dunedin way on the south island. There isn't a huge surfing population there due to it being fricken freezing.

The thing I want to know about Sunset is wtf do you do if you are caught squarely inside by a rogue voluminous west peak? Do you try and duck dive or just pray jump off and accept the large haldron collider style atomisation? Surely sunset must have been the location of some of surfings heaviest flo...

why not save your money and head OS on a surfing trip for a a couple of months. I agree with Salty - leave your ute unmodified and go to indo/samoa/wa/hawaii/anywhere but st kilda and re-discover your love of surfing good (warm) waves I lived in the UK for 18 months a few years back and I found it ...

I admire your discipline to take pictures of pumping surf - I simply couldn't do it I'd have to get out there immediately.

Is Mac Bank the Millionaires factory seriously tied up with FCS? :?

Those guys are hard wired to monetise anything within an inch of its life and get horny for monopolies - (which FCS must have in Aus).

Dae - I've been thrown into the breakwall at Cote Des Basque when tryng to exit up the stair case at high tide. Its a bit of a bitch getting back in. It was ironic as it happened to my mate the day before and I was pissing myself at his misfortune - until I did the exact same thing the next day (alw...

I mostly surf TC Whitelines, TC Aqualines, the original H-2's, FG3 / 5, or PC-3's... but have tried most of the (extinct) Carbon Lite series including the YU's, AM's and TC Redlines. I have a set of CR-V's with a G-5 center in my 8'2 and I love 'em! Also surfed all the older composite FCS fins heap...

Is is it me or have these forums got a lot more aggro since the relaunch of the site?

I walked 750m home this morning after surfing and could barely work the house keys.

The ski industry must be soooo happy with this winter though.
