Re: Danes to surf at Snapper
I'll hang on to my left nut, thanks Rob. I'm not a competitive person, I think the WCT is about as far away from the way I want to experience wave riding as I could imagine. Though the WQS/Prime? tour sounds worse. Sure, I wouldn't mind surfing all the WCT spots, but even if I was getting paid to do...

Re: Portable roof racks
Yes, but they won't vibrate as much as they won't reach their harmonic speed due to the shorter effective spans between the twists.

the insurance company doesn't know that.*el rancho wrote:was discussing with my sweetie-pie about the possibility of driving it into some flood waters.
but it doesn't really drive anymore.
*In no way do I advocate this behaviour. In fact I hate all insurance scammers.

Re: Will Brisbane flood again?
I didn't follow the links, is he the son of the other famous shyster? This event seems to have been a bit of a fizzer. We had some local flooding with the high tide, but stuff all to complain about. Though if we got another similar event, or a few of them, a hundred kays further west, no doubt it'd ...

Will Brisbane flood again?
So, it's been steady and heavy with the rain for the last day or so. Sunshine Coast is getting belted and the system's moving towards the catchment areas. 300+mm looking possible over a few days on already sodden ground. Any weather-savvy people want to put their neck out as to what the next few day...

Re: How to pigdog
My pigdogging is rubbish. I'm kind of like 3, but with my shoulders too squared off. Re the turf toe: I had a bad turf toe injury over a decade ago, avulsion fracture on the outside of the big toe. I couldn't surf at all for a few years, as it would re-tear every session and then I couldn't walk for...

Braithy, I've surfed the last few weeks on great banks all within 20 minutes of your place.
Never had more than 2 others on my peak, normally one of them from my car.
And that's just the post-storm dregs.

Most Holden Commercials have been Isuzus for years. Pretty sure that's changed now. The Colorado I'm told isn't Isuzu based due to some split in the company. Not sure what but someone will know. wasn't it the other way around, the Rodeo used to be an Isuzu, now it isn't, that's why it's the Colorad...

Re: snowboarding japan
the snow in Niseko is unbefarkingleivable. I was there about 3 weeks, and the smallest amount of snow in the carpark the next day was ankle depth. Most days it was about knee high, one day it was chest deep and you could run through it without even feeling the drag. Guess whose job it was to clear t...
