Re: Wetsuit for NZ later November - Taranaki area
You could almost get away with just a top shelf warm 3/2, but safest thing would be to take a stretchy 4/3 and your 3/2 for sunny afternoons. Its onshore most of the time in Nov. So you're going to be surfing when the wind is light variable.

Re: Nth NSW sharks. Can they p!ss off already?
Its likely that inshore GW activity during migration is related to the number of sick whales that cark it on the way. Lots of sick whales means GW's eat their fill and don't bother sniffing around the coast. Fewer weak whales and the GW posse that are following the migration start coming in shore. W...

Re: Midlengths
If i was ever going to ride a mid length Pinny, that would be it. Looks good, what do you do from here? Well, next steps are I have to agonise over every tiny detail of the shape - like should I go 2 7/16ths instead of 2 1/2. Then I take the file to the Surfboard Studio to listen to Zac tell me how...

Re: Midlengths
I conjured up this 2+1 egg in Shape 3d - 6'7" x 19 3/4 x 2 1/2. Its a generic egg but slightly narrower, with a slightly more pulled in tail and more tail rocker. Slight vee nose and tail with a double inside a single concave through the middle. I was thinking I could ride it in sizie Winkipop, and ...

Next week a large high looks set to direct a pretty much straight E'ly onshore flow over NENSW/SEQLD.....exactly the patten which has bedevilled us all summer/autumn. Today and tomorrow will be the cleanest days. it's about 6ft on the sets right now.....glassy/lumpy....very average due to no sand b...

Re: post your modern day sickness
Wasn't sure whether I should post these pics due to the bitterness and envy they would cause. Josh Dowling. PU/PE 5'7" x 18 3/4" x 2.4" 29 litres asymmetrical. (He does the odd PU/PE for people if they want something interesting made) Josh did a raised deck in the tail - like an arch bar. So the ta...

Indeed. What may seem like a rambling load of waffle to you may seem like a nonsensical rant to others.
