i just did the fill coat on the bottom on mine.
turned out better than the last one, thanks for the tips Ric.
just fin plugs, leash plug and sanding to go.

well that was a bit harder than i thought it would be. i got the smallest plane i could find and had a dig at the stringer. tore a bit of the foam up on the side of the stringer but managed to get that out as much as i could. bottom is a slight single concave with pretty medium rails. the rail edge ...

So I started sanding the ridges smooth and fine tuning the rails. Looks alright so far. I think I am way too clumsy to be a shaper tho, I put a few bumps and marks in it already. Mine was going to be a quad but know i'm thinking of doing it with 5 plugs for 3 or 4 fins. still not 100% sure yet. and Mark I ordered the blank before i got the quadfather. I wanted to have a go of the quadfather cause it was pretty close to what I wanted to build. I have read a lot of good stuff ...

Mark, I am doing a pretty standard 6'2 x 19 rounded pin. its actually pretty similar to the quadfather in outline. i just took one of the template files from boardcad and tweaked it till it looked right. sent it off to miki from aps3000 and he fixed the file so it would cut ok and picked it up a few...

I will be getting into Sydney on Sunday moring and heading back home on monday about 6:30pm.
I will probably be in Bundeena on Sunday night.
