I know mate I've been reading about you guys posting them! Unfortunately I work in Melb CBD 5 days a week and weekends I take what I can get which this summer, unfortunately, hasn't worked out well (kid on the way, house needing work etc...) I think I am paying the price for experiencing a very good...

Yeah rain, any rain would be good. Garden is drying up, stuck on Stage 3 restrictions, dams at 37.5% full. Not good.

No fires where I live although the wooded areas close by around Dromana, Main Ridge, Red Hill must be getting nervous, it's drier than Connie Rices nether regions around there.

Pretty ordinary in Vic so far

Had a couple of good sessions at Gunnamatta but by and large not much out there at the moment, or has been really since the start of summer

Roll on Autumn, thats when it starts to get really good down here.

what about that Life Like Liquid movie with the micro barrels, think it was made by Greg Webbers bro and a mate? Don't know about that one mate. You should be able to get Beyond The Line Up on DVD, worth it just to hear Nat Young having a crack at the whole surfing industry and the comparison betwe...

Beyond the Line Up - Surf Movie

Anyone seen this flick? Watched it at a Clean Ocean night in Dromana last Friday. Pretty interesting film actually and not anything like the whole corporate slick produced crap that most surf movies have become. Goes into more of the philosophy and spirituality behind surfing, even took the missus a...

Missed it bugger it. I was building a deck all day on my holidays, went down on Sunday morning and it was crap.

Gunna is usually around 3-5ft in the summer, in winter it can get pretty damn big.

Surf Mag?

My subscription to Motor has arrived in the mail and I've decided I don't want to renew it anymore. Same old boring journos, same old boring stories and constant swiping of arcticles from a UK mag I get each month as well has made me cut them off. So, I need to get something else to read for the mon...

Sharks have just as much right to kill/eat/mutilate us because we've entered their environment and are just another tasty round shaped delectable treat Yep agreed. Once you enter the ocean you play by it's rules and rule number 1 is that the Shark is at the top of the food chain. Unlike on land whe...

Actually I think it was last year mate. Last recorded person to be killed by a shark in Vic was in the 1950's. You could either say we're pretty safe down here or we're due! Flinders is were I like to surf the most as well  I work with an older bloke who has kayaked and sailed around a lot of...

Bloody disgrace, that prick doesn't speak for me. The ocean is the sharks and every other marine creatures home. Not ours. I know, appreciate and above all, respect this fact. No-one has the right to kill a shark for doing what it does naturally. Fed up with this "humans are the greatest" shit. We s...

Although you can see seal rocks (big seal colony hence the name) from Flinders/Shoreham/Pt Leo shark attacks are still very, very rare at these reefs. I reckon they prefer feeding on seals than us anyway and catching what the fishermen don't. Not all of them are man-eaters. Sea planes regularly pat...
