Re: Instant Coffee

perculating is frowned on in these parts Braithy. Much the same as killing sharks and voting liberal. Well to be perfectly honest, there's not much that washes down the indiscriminate killing of a 50 year old GW with a harpoon while wearing Abbott style speedos from the saftey of my tugboat than a ...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

I surfed a little 1ft left up at pippes last week at mid tide for about an hour it was breaking like that ... It's disappeared since the swell changed direction tho :( Was that pic at Backies? [cue discreet fishing for location  ] See there's a trawler stuck on the reef outside Spookies this mo...

Re: Instant Coffee

What's our stance on the dripulator/ perkulator? What's the bloody difference? The wife - god bless her - just bought a perkulator looking machine. So I took the due dilligence and bought the most expensive columbian beans i could find and made up a brew yesterday afternoon. Since I was getting all ...

I don't how long it'd take for a low to form near enzed to pump some swell through to Chopes, but I'm going on the record as saying they're gonna get skunked.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Hey Banga crunchies looks good... I only looked yesterday, in the fading light after work. (yeah yeah I do do work...) I call this spot "Dangeroos" - I've checked it numerous times in various conditions and I'm still working out if its do-able - never seen anyone out, and the shoreline looks suicid...

Re: Debate over shark killer rages

Had a really interesting chat with a guy in the same apartments where I live, he was about to head out for a paddle on his ski. He said there is a 5-6 mtr GW lurking around our waters. He was fishing with his brother about 400mtres off Green point in a tinny and this GW bigger and rounder than their...

Re: Tufflite boards

If they are anything like the salomons. they're pretty average compared to a pu board, i reckon. Good in sub 2 foot waves bah. crap. A well shaped pu board with a nice bit of concave will piss all over one of those boaty corky things. Like Pridemore said. You've got a bunch of good shapers on your ...

Re: Debate over shark killer rages

Essentially tho , re sharks. I simply believe we have no right regardless of how savage or recidivist they are to hunt and kill them. But! As Australians we have already set precedents. We cull dingo's on fraser which are deemed menaces and councils will kill a household pet dog because it did what...

You too Gra! It was a bolt outta the blue. You get many before the sun went down? It looked like it was getting more fun as the tide went out.
