It will be a real shame if Parko misses out on a World Title due to it coming down to losing a heat in CRAP waves and conditions, on what is supposedly a "Dream Tour". the only good thing i can take from this is that it remains tight going into pipe and we have dual aussie showdown... but in saying...

One last observation of the pro surf thing...I was sitting in a pub the other day having a quiet beer when out of the corner of my eye i see surfing on one of the many LCD screens scattered throughout the establishment. I shift seats to get a better look at the action hoping its something worth wat...

finally gave this one a go. i was working most of the weekend, but managed to get out to manly on sunday arvo. i consciously was trying to lift my elbows, instead of lifting my arms so to speak.... seemed a lot easier, and seemed to paddle around with a fair bit of speed. however it might be my conc...

from what i understand (and it isnt that much) the one rating system was very much needed for the avg punter to get their head around? if u looks at something like tennis, where it has one rating system, the avg punter can understand that. and whats more, if a ranked 245th wild card beats a no 2 ran...

Just got a 6'0 webber mini fish... Had a 3 hour surf this morning at the Alley in Cronulla . Got a bunch of waves and did some nice turns... I'm not a very good surfer but i reckon it's a sweet board... It's my favourite board so far. The quiver had really come along since i started surfing 2 years...

yeah, ive been known to hum / sing the odd tune. typically whatever record is dominating my playlist that week....

now whistling? never done that one...
