Something like this tasteful outfit would be far more appropriate next time (in your club colours of course).
Looks like Westerly got a medal too?

Re: Quiver thread

Could the weight of all those medals caused the bike shorts to slip down a little too far for modesty purposes? We should all remember that the 'Harry Highpants' look is considered most appropriate for the (ahem) mature age gentlemen amongst us. Either that or a nice modest one piece costume. Could ...

Re: Just general surfing stuff

Would Australia be a better country if Nick Carroll and Steve Shearer were in positions of power? discuss. Which one would be Malcolm Turnbull and which one Barnaby Joyce? Hang on - Nick's hairstyle is pretty similar to Barnaby's so that question may be resolved. Yeah that's just what I am looking ...

They can have the waves anywhere anytime courtesy of Mr. Robert K Slater's waveautorium business.

Re: Just general surfing stuff

Well I don't think it's apocalyptic. It's just all a bit directionless. On the local personal sorta level I don't know if surfing has ever been any more fun than it can be for most of us these days, the boards are fantastic and varied, you can go with your buddies and ride amazing waves, all that s...

Re: Just general surfing stuff

And the free surfer will inherit the earth and so it shall be. Goddamit Dane Reynolds was right after all. Anyway Nick maybe Manly will get back on the horse in 2017 and win the prem, actually I think I'll put my hard earned on Kelly instead. Kelly 17. How about a Sharks v Sea Eagles GF for 2017 wi...

Re: Just general surfing stuff

Hey Mr Carrollllll If you are back I have a question. Do you think Kelly could do the unthinkable next year if he just went back to riding Merricks? Ha ha ha ha as if. It's 2017, gang. Kelly owns Firewire and has sold his wave pool and the entire pro sport to a New York billionaire whom nobody know...

Re: Just general surfing stuff

From what I can remember of the old pre battery powered tool days a 'Long Tom' was the definitive tool of choice when you needed to quickly and repeatedly screw things. Good porn actor name too.

Re: Just general surfing stuff

Staggering amounts of money for what started out as a backyard board short factory. Wonder if they ever had the conscious to pay royalties to indigenous Australians for ripping off their language that they had developed to describe a waterhole in a river bend and then turning into a quirky, Australi...

Re: Just general surfing stuff

the fact that Jim is now targetting well heeled baby boomers, ironically the people who need finely tuned custom equipment the least: as well evidenced by Cranked who gets by fine- in fact actively chooses generic os manufactured pop-outs- is what is truly sad. Like a dog with a bone. Has there bee...

Re: Just general surfing stuff

That sequence should go in the surfers dictionary description of 'drop in'. Surely the bloke must have been a mate of Dino Miranda? Dino looks like a pretty big lump of a lad and surely would have called him off it or alternatively got his crew together to punch seven shades of shit out of the bloke...

Mischievous baiting. This can only reignite the highly intriguing topic of 'My preferred polymer is better than your preferred polymer'.

Really? Was he completely off the pace? Not really but it seemed like the 'show' has moved on for him and some of the other WCT regulars. Whilst conditions weren't premium Pipe, some back door rights were carbon copy big Snapper which you would think he could have picked off and ripped with his eye...

Probably the same one that bumped MFs leg rope last year. Could be a 'non-biting' variety of GWS?
