Re: Just in case someone didn't get it yet . . . .

Outta curiosity Roy ... If someone were genuinely serious about buying a board, and you say they are performance boards. How long would you let them have a board to trial for? No one would shell out half a mil for a board and not ride in all conditions first. Even though every instinct I have tells ...

Re: This is terrible.....

I know long, longterm, the only people in Australia who'll be able to live near the ocean will be on 6 or 7 figures. The Gold Coast is the blueprint plan for the rest of Oz ... The richer you are, the closer you live to the ocean like it's a social status symbol rather than a lifestyle choice. These...

Are you serious Roy? Trimming across the face of a wave can be construed as a turn? What about a bottom turn? What about a turn off the lip? I can't quite tell if you're serious.

Can you make a bottom turns with your boards, and lay them on one rail to do so?

Re: New old stick

I picked up a JS Blak Box ... rather than get it as a 5'10" like the pros would ride (its recommended to ride 3-4 inches shorter), I got a 6'3" which is my normal sized board ... The board's overall dimensions 6'3" 21 & 2 5/8 which is about 2 inches wider than my normal shortboard and about 1/4 inch...

Re: correct paddling technique?

I think I just got more out of this thread in 15 minutes, then the last 15 years of trial and error and bumbling and injuries in the ocean.

Thanks NC
