Re: Where did you surf today ?
The 3 year long summer of Karlos (yes Kunji, it lasted that long due to advantageous employment conditions) came to an end about a week & a half ago. Getting established in the new job has involved some rather long days ruling out (for the time being at least) mid week sessions. Back to being a week...

Re: tide watches
Found a RC waterproof number years ago on the Corso. It looked like it had come off someone's wrist in a fight & it's hacked as shit but it's been my surf watch for years. No tide stuff on it (look on the web) & the dial with heat timing on it doesn't actually move (probably rusted in place), but al...

Yes I have, but not as well as I should due to the mystery of the RS doovalackys being on my mind.
But now my sleep will be sound and for that I thank you.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
For the first time ever today, i saw someone actually killing it on a tomo (other than Tomo and those other pros) - looked like a vader. He was full semi-pro: airs, fins busting out, dropping in and turning his board over to show everyone in the line-up. I listened in as he explained why the board ...

Re: new project
I think I told the story about skating at Five Dock while some guys were filming this bloke doing a run. In the couple of hours I was there they were unable to nail it. The guy was a very capable skater but would come unstuck at various points & eventually they gave up. It would have been for a 10-1...

Re: Byron Bay - The Pass - The Video
That looks shithouse. The drone captures it beautifully but what a clusterfcuk. The drop-ins are absolutely diabolical & quite frankly I simply would not bother going within 10km of the joint. Fcuk that.

I might be able to sleep a little easier tonight 'boo. However I would still appreciate knowing what the lightbulb is about.
Thank you.

That little red square to the left of the 'by alakaboo' takes me to the last post I've read. The ones on the index page are different. Some have moving lines, some don't. Some have a red star, some don't. Some have a red circle, some have a blue one. And some are lightbulb shaped, one of which is th...

Re: Where did you surf today ?
I just watched some video of Snapper & holy fcuk I am continually amazed at what a clusterfuck it is. Every wave is an obstacle course & I half expect Super Mario to pop up. With the wealth of spots up there why the fcuk do people bother with Snapper?
