Looks like Nike's pulling back from surfing - according to no less an authoritative source than STAB, Nike team riders are getting rebranded as Hurley. Kinda makes sense to me.

It doesn't work both ways Fong. There are many instances of the judges not getting things right, instances which closer followers of the ASP could enlighten you on. I think you're just trying to weasel out the corner you've backed yourself into. Sometimes it's OK to be wrong. Have fun going straight...

good to see some debate. Reminds me of fine art - some people see something hanging on a wall and think "my 4 year old could do better than that." Others appreciate the skill and artistry and are entranced.

Fong-o, I suspect you are no fan of Jackson Pollock.

hmmm, just watched the PR video. Reynolds turns harder, and with more power, than the guys he was competing against. Nothing in there to rival the Haleiwa hack tho.

I don't think Taj is riding FWs anymore. I ready Matt Biolos' blog (mayhem / lost) and he seems to be doing a few for him (and everyone else!)

Biolos seems to have his head screwed on the right way. Does some lovely looking boards, and you know what they say - if it looks right....

I surfed Mona Vale on Saturday with a mate. Was rippy and wind-affected, but we had fun. Then had a paddle at the Alley yesterday; a few nice ones, but it was mainly paddling exercise with a rip running through the break.

There's no doubt the guy needs help. He's still living in 1992. But I am not the person to get him help. Most of his other friends are smokers too. I'm probably the only person who is not. well if your not the person help , and i respect that, you are the person to at least try and find someone who...
