Hi I'd go the 7'6 or 7'2 NSP. They turn quicker than some of the others mentioned, they don't get damaged as easily and are quite bouyant. New will cost you around $450.00 from Dripping Wet or Wicks an extra $100.00 will get you a leggie and a hard cover. (I have no connection with either store! Jus...

death to all false music especially false punk rock. you can shove your black eyeliner, tight black jeans, dyed black hair & poppy sounding garbage squarely up your A-R-S-E-S. Jeez, that rattled your cage. Don't know about the eyeliner bit, it just sounds like they're some OK bands around; I don't ...

Common courtesy should apply. Even at small beaches like Freshie where they are now holding the odd comp, we who are not involved surf the other 2/3's of that beach not dramas, for larger beaches like Curly, Narra there should be less of a prob (except the old blokes last Sun of every month at Nth C...

What's a local?
Local doesn't mean you have to live on that beach anymore. If you've surfed every week winter and summer (especially midweek) and are accepted by the crew you are a local. Are the North Narra Boys and Bra boys gonna live with mum and dad until they're fifty waiting for the folks to die so they can k...

A couple of very funny gromets said @ Shelley when I was cleaning up the blood - "be careful it's dangerous out there" A guy in his 30's told me where the nearest medical centre was that was open on the coast on Good Friday. I tried to claim stigmatarism. Freshie no-one noticed so I floated in and l...

Quicksilver
A method used for mind control in cult members usually assoiated with fringe US churches. Involves use of chemicals and hypnotism/mesmorism but is spelled Silva and nothing to do with the company. THey would have maybe got the idea from pouring the moulton silver and seeing like swirling waves.

Body Surfers & Swimmers
I mostly surf @ Freshwater NSW. It is a very small beach and often over half the beach is flagged leaving little room for riding amongst a large crowd. If we as board riders may be subjected to fines if we surf into the flagged areas (Spring & Summer) and hit someone Should councils through the surf...

HI, I broke my nose in a mishap paddling out for my first wave @ Shelley on the Central Coast NSW (copped my own board in the face) and did my medial ligament in my left knee trying to avoid a swimmer at Freshie and broke a couple of ribs wiping out and landing on the sand bank @ low tide @ Freshie....
