Offshore - those flying one's are very cool. So lifelike, that you feel you can swoop and soar - sort of like hang gliding without the kite.
I dig 'em!

Butts - is that Diamond Head - mid north NSW coast or the one in the middle of the Pacific? If the mid north coast - you can't go wrong with that whole area Seal Rocks to Yamba should get you two weeks easy.
As to the Mr Vidal comment - do you have him for the long haul or just a day or three?

Can't say that in 40 years surfing I've ever seen a board snapped along the stringer. Plenty across for sure, and as Ric says anything is repairable, but the time and cost if it is truly a lengthwise snap, would put it in the too hard basket. Buy yourself a newie for Xmas - much better than socks an...

My wife is a gemini and is always on time - but for farks sake she is the moodiest of moody. Now that may have someting to do with me making boards on the back deck - or it maybe that she's a woman and they invariably reserve the right to be moody regardless of starsign.

Ok - I hear all this chat and whilst I see merits in a lot of it - its really a horses for courses thing. You could always get a sub 7 footer with multiple fin set up options - isn't that right Ricardo? On the 8, 9 and 10 footers - are we talking 3 fins as in three fins of the same or samish dimensi...

Poor- low, and thats how it was after the World Cup - the lowest of the low and I was there to witness that saddest of moments and was sitting next to Lucas Neils Dad and Mum - devastation. :( :( :( :( Enough now though until the tears well up again. Italy - does have more than its fair share of dar...

With my twisted logic - I still don't see the issue. Sell (or you've already sold) HER mal that SHE won. Use the bucks to buy two blanks - one for the forum flunky and one (thinly disguised) as being for the female of the house to make the quad. Anyway - whats the matter with her, didn't she like th...

Fongal, actually its very loose. The idea is that you either surf it as one big fin (which I've not done yet) or just the 3 standard thruster set up, which is just fine. Had some ok waves and others who've surfed it with no problem. Again, its a hybrid - so you can take your pick - either one or the...

Morty -its a time of life thing too I think. Like when you were a grom and only walked to places you went to the nearest place that could fuel you up for the next sesh. At Nth Steyne/Manly that was a shop (where Dripping Wet Surf is now) run by Jack and Gordon Knights (Manly, Central Coast and now G...
