well actually one surfer and a guy on a SUP.

Last night about 6pm at 2 foot Freshie....both paddled for a wave both missed it, surfer pushed the SUP and the guy fell off, words were exchanged and then blows until a random surfer broke it up. It was pretty ugly

It actually looks like he's screwing in one of Simon Andersons S4 quad fins in the rear so nothing to gain for KS by doing that and he is not so altruistic to endorse other peoples fins or ride boards in heats to promote sales when he only needs to get through one or two to win a 9th title

I also think that guys are surfing heavier waves than perhaps they were in the past as boundaries get pushed and you need shorter boards to "fit" the wave. Try taking off at chopes on a 7'6 and trying to position yourself in the barrel :shock: , yet in waves of that size thats the sort of length guy...
