Morty, Your baby must be around 8 months, now I think it depends a bit on how confident your husband is with the baby. I think that it is better to just tell him that you are going one morning, early and he wll figure it out. Leave plenty of instructions and food and milk. My husband was always a bi...

I think that the boys in general surf discussion would be more interested in helping you with specifics, particularly if you can be more precise with height weight and skill level, and of course what she rides now, and perhaps how often she wants to surf. I don't think that there is any advice pecul...

Can you rent a board here before you go, and try a 7'6" and maybe one either side 7'10" and 7'2" Are you out back yet trying to get green waves or are you still learning to stand up in the whitewash. And do you mostly catch the waves you go for and stand up? If you are having trouble standing then a...

marcus wrote ive made it a rule im not dating a chick unless she's into the water In my youth, I did a lot of hiking and rogaining (a bit like orienteering but at night), and always imagined that my partner would be into those things, or at least an active sort of bloke. Imagine my surprise when I ...

surfing girlfriends/boyfriends
I was wondering, is it better for your partner to surf and get excited about the swell, or is it better to go surfing to get away from them.
Or is it too hard to find one who is not only attractive, also worth spending time with, and keen on surfing?

when to repair cracked fins
My new board has a small 2-3 cm crack behind one of the fins, although the fin is very stable
Should I get it fixed now or can it wait. Is there a way of telling when it has gone all the way through the fibreglass and needs fixing?
Thanks.

Girls need guys and guys need girls. Any one gender dominated environments are unhealthy. Look at any single sex work place. It's an oversimplification but too many guys make it a little crude and too many girls are bitchy. Besides, without my guy, I wouldn't have a babysitter for my morning surf. (...
