I am having the Bathymetry (bottom shape) of REEF BEACH mapped by some divers as we speak. All it needs is a little spack filler which is already just lying around on the rock platform, having been tossed up by the odd storm over the past million years or so. Ten years ago when this was tried the main problem was the local residents, including Freshie Boardriders. People just did not want anything that would attract more people to their particular area.....Peter Macdonald who was the local member jumped on the residents bandwagon for whatever votes were...
