Nice one trev. I've got bad tinnitus too. I get my hearing checked every year (since I had my ear drilled) and I keep coming up as having good hearing. I mention the ringing and how it makes it hard to follow conversations and they just shrug their shoulders and say there's nothing that can be done....

Nasty, looks like mine when I had my right ear done nearly 2 years ago. It's healed up well but the pain was intense and recovery was slow

BTW how’d you end up in the comp? Did you beat surfing dude Phill Jarrett? Got knocked out in the semi finali beat a couple of guys I haven't before. I had my first surf in aaaages this morning at longy. Looked pretty blown out and closing out. Maybe it was my low expectations but it was actually a lot of fun. I shouldn't leave it so long til next one

Went down to my nemesis today, powderpuff point. Tried a different strategy and sat about halfway out and picked off plenty of wider ones.

Yeah, but I deliberately took the soft option after so long out of the water it was just what I needed

Finally got my first post lockdown surf in. It was crowded as expected but could have been worse. I managed to find a little uncrowded peak at sth Narra. As anticipated my timing was well off but paddling and getting around was ok.

Felt great but lost interest after an hr. Good to be back

Just a few things I've gone to him about and hasn't really taken interest. Old and set in his ways I guess. To be fair hes indulged me other times. He also has a shit list of specialists he refers you to
