i have to say that respect in general has gone out the window..perhaps a function of society at large when i was learning the ropes i NEVER dropped in, never blatantly snaked anyone, never paddled straight back to poll position, (well not much) :wink: and gave the hotshots and older locals their spa...

some of the options to make old school fish more user friendly include this include a little more tail rocker, more pulled in tail, smaller keels or quad!
a quad fish surfs in between a keel fish and a thruster - hey presto - much less transition problems :wink:

there's fish and there's fish IMO the old school steve lis type can be cranky to surf and require a nice open wall sort of wave. however a few minor modifications to the planshape and rocker and its a new ballgame and widens the range of conditions FUN FUN FUN i wouldn't go so far to say they ruin y...

obscene stuff, yes but the price of petrol is a bit more complex than gulf states getting USD 65 odd per bbl (not very much in inflation adjusted terms) and sharing it amongst the select few royals and their lackies.... hint........ think (in no particular order) the bush family/texas inc., hallibur...
