Re: Flesh eating surfers
I find it troubling that people seem to be proud of their lack of compassion. How far down the chain does your compassion extend? Does it extend to bacteria, mosquitos, viruses. Every ideological movement to impose compassion on human beings, including the biblical parable quoted has only lead to t...

Re: SE Qld Looking the GOODS
I thought with all the cuzzy bros over here, it might make it a bit lighter ie easier to tow away Damm thing is smack bang in the road as the fetch intensifies. aarrggh. I like the look of the storm track so far though....long wave trough steering things sou-east and a quasi stationary monsoonal gyr...

Please only write something about someone that you know they wouldnt mind reading on the net about themself, within reason. Cheers The truth doesn't always...

Re: New Surf Wax Formula's
Would love to try it out.
I've got a sweet 6'5" Mitchell Rae flextail that is just about ready to be re-waxed in preparation for some real waves.
Can't seem to make the pm thing work.
Thanks for the considered response.

Re: New Surf Wax Formula's
Hey guys, I have just finished a new formula Cold, Warm and Tropical Wax.. No offence mate, but seeing as this is a public forum I have to ask. Why? Isn't the currently available wax perfectly suited to the job of maintaining traction on a surfboard. Seems to me you'd have an easier time selling a ...

Pretty damm funny to see America's sultan of soul, towsurfing a retro board into a crowded Bali line-up. I guess paddling into 4 foot surf has be...

Re: La Nina - North Pacific
Hey Don, I spent three months in the Phillos during the La Nina year of 1999. (Sep-Nov). Seems that because of the increase SST's in the Nor-West Pac...the typhoon storm track was higher than usual. ie instead of forming around the Palau/inter tropical convergence zone they formed much further north...

Re: Happy New Year!!!
Well GFS certainly phcuked up big time with that call but as it stands , it's a damm good thing. A semi-stationary low pressure region drifting in the Coral Sea (the original Low progged by GFS , did move off the CQ coast , drifted NE and is weakening). Looks like a nice sustained tradewind swell re...

Herro has been living at Lennox the past few years, usually found at the pub , or riding a bike with a brown sanga in hand. Suffers from pancreatitis, and has recently had every single one of his teeth removed due to rotten teeth leading to general septicaemia. He tried to dry out for a few months b...

Re: Happy New Year!!!
BOM have recently issued a strong wind warning for South Coastal waters due to a low forming off Gladstone. They have it remaining weak though and drifting out into the CS. Whichever way you slice it, there's surf on the horizon. I'm thinking GFS might be overcooking things.....gee they're sticking ...

Re: Happy New Year!!!
what fantasy is this. . Don't know what synoptic chart your looking at Nick but both GFS and EC are progging a fairly serious swell generating pattern for the lower Coral Sea. In GFS case a repeat of the coast hugging hybrid low that produced 8-10 foot tow surf on the Goldy and devestating floods f...
