Re: Where did you surf today ?

Let's just say that left hander was completely different to the reef breaks I have surfed before.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Even at high tide there is not much water over the inside section of the reef. Didn't make any sections today and ended up standing on the reef after each wave and paddling as fast as I could to get out of the impact zone.

Chipped my fins as well.

up the coast
Crescent?
Forster. No much surf around though.
Why’s everyone avoiding Crescent? You, Iggy, Shearer and Beany could have a few drinks and talk about food.

Go with Cranked, Goddy. He has this "priority" thing they're all talking about, all sewn up over there.
And you'll get a big enough dose of vitamin D and radiation to last you forever.
Vitamin D is overrated. Stay out of the sun.

Re: Just general surfing stuff

I believe CI here use surfblanks and rhino laminating ? Correct me if needed. But if that’s the case then I’ve got no qualms about quality. That twinny I got about a year ago was using the above and had s-cloth. Light enough board and pretty damn tough for a PU. I hear they use three glassing optio...

Re: that wetsuit discussion...

I love it when people from places like the UK try to do surf instruction videos! It's like listening to Americans trying to swear, or Malcolm Roberts trying to explain the word "empirical" -- unconvincing and ultimately doomed, but kind of cute at the same time Check out the accent in this instruct...

Big again today. Bondi Pool is closed.
I think all of the Eastern Suburbs turned up at the one manageable spot yesterday arvo. It wasn't as packed as the morning but it was still too packed for that spot.

I've seen a channel islands board snap when a small dog farted one suburb over.

Great shapes, terrible glassing.
Mine is developing spider web crack lines in multiple spots. Still no pressure dings on the deck though.

Surfed Cloudbreak again on Monday. Not my first choice. Managed to catch a couple of uneventful peaks before scoring a chattering screamer right through. Snapped the rental board on the next wave. That was an expensive surf.
How did you snap it?

Hey Pet I have a virtually new Chest zip quiksilver steamer ( the fully lined one) in small up for grabs if you tire of the zipperless pretzel position AG47 or Highline version? I haven't gone out in the zipperless one yet. I only tried it on once. Getting it on was easy, I just have to remember ho...
