Re: Two Misfits for sale

I think they’re targets Iggy. If he got his foot in the grey area he was winning. The wavy one was the board he’d surf after a few schooies.

Re: Midlengths

I don’t find the lightness a problem, if anything I see it as a positive. I’ve previously owned a 6’8 waterskate which was the longest serving board in my quiver. 2007 to a few months ago. It had quite a few repairs and got Patto to put a single fin box in, so it would’ve been as heavy as a 6’10). I...

Re: Midlengths

They only do seaxes in timbertek. Had a few waves in 4ft surf this morning with some wind chop on the surface.
Love it. No corky chattering like tuflites.
Love it.

Re: Midlengths

Loving the 7’2 seaxe. Wish i’d found something like this year ago. Would’ve saved me thousands. Not using much else at the moment. Have most of my boards on sale on the gumtree.

Re: Midlengths

Ended up getting a second hand 7” fcs pivot fin. Use it with some quad rears for sidebites.
8” alk single fin was nice too.

Re: Coconut Spray; The Niugini Experience

No crowds. For two reasons. 1. The surf management plan seems to be honoured by everyone. We heard stories of machete wielding locals literally walking out onto the reef if they hadn’t been paid their cut of the surf tourism cash. 2. The resort wasn’t full, and it was a very good thing in this case....

Re: Midlengths

Had a session at north cronulla yesterday. Very busy 2ft max on the sets. The 8” single is perfect for it. Going to get a 2+1 set up. Thinking about the shapers 6” 2+1 set up. Not bag value at $150. If was super crowded... haven’t had a collision in a while. Had 2 yesterday. Nose chipped on my new ...

Re: Midlengths

Also if anyone has a 6-7” centre fin laying around let me know.
I’ve got a set of medium performers neo glass in new condition that we can swap.
Or would swap the performers for a large futures quad set.

Re: Midlengths

So I got my hands on a new 7’2 seaxe for 600 bills Took it for a paddle at the beachie In 1.5ft on shore junk near the flags. Put an 8” alkali Pcc fin in it. Paddles as well as my 7’7. I reckon the epoxy core played a big part here. There’s some waves coming for Sunday. Pretty excited to get it out ...
